About Me
As a former Assistant District Attorney in the largest county in North Carolina and one of the busiest cities in the state, I was successful, busy, and missing out on what was nearest and dearest to me—my family. My daughter was growing and changing before my eyes, and I wanted to be more than just one part of her life. I wanted to be in her life. After 11 + years of serving a community that I loved in a way that I once dreamed of, my dream changed, and so did my service. As a VA, I can use my extensive skills to help others manage their time, talents, and resources so they can focus even more on the things and people that matter the most to them. This is a service that allows me to be in my daughter's life and her in mine. It is a joy and a blessing, for which I am grateful.
I often say, "I love nature, but nature does not love me back." I would be that person with 15 mosquito bites while everyone else is asking, "What mosquito?" But that has not stopped me. I enjoy the beach (my favorite place), gardening, walking trails, bike rides (of the electric kind), roller skating, pickleball, volleyball, picnicking, and geocaching. Growing up in The Bahamas, I have always loved the idea of experiencing new things and snow is definitely new and different. So every chance I get my daughter and I would either head to the beach or to the snow.
The indoors offers a wonderful reprieve as well. Hot chocolate with a good book and blanket sounds just perfect some days, or making crafts and playing games with my daughter. Sometimes we would make up an entire story about the birds that come to the bird feeder outside our living room window. (Thus far we have concluded that the red cardinal and blue jay a plotting a mutiny to get rid of the morning dove. Saga to be continued)

Cherish small moments because everyday events add up to a life of fulfillment. While big moments happen, they end. It is the everyday things that build character in you and others. I hope to make my clients' every day a little easier so they can cherish the moments that will last.
